I thought CCS Credit Collection Services did pay for deletes

The last 5 reps I talked to all said per FCRA they can only update as a paid in full settlement.

This is for a 117 dollar collection for Progressive.

I told them it does nothing for me to have a paid settlement and that 117.00 reporting balance is irrelevant to me, and that removing the tradeline is the only way I'll pay.

I guess I wait them out and just let it drop in a few years?

I paid them in 2020 and it was deleted. There was even verbiage saying so on the payment page on their website.

It appears they used to do PFD but stopped the proccess a while back. Thread from Feb '22

Send a GW letter to the office of the CEO asking that it be removed, keep sending them at a regular interval until you get action or it drops off.
