Hello to all! So i am new to this site and i finally woke up and decided to take control of my life and credit. It is sad that @ 29 years i am just figuring out the importance in CREDIT. So after years of not caring, I have just filed BK CH7. I have 3 Judgements and 1 tax lien on Public Records. The tax lien is released and one of the judgments has been settled. I am wanting to know how this will effect my Credit score post BK? Also which is the best to establish positive credit again. Would i get a secure\unsecure ( how easy\hard is this to accomplish. Also looking to get a Auto loan, and i have never had one. Please reply with all you advise. I greatly appreciate it!

I would suggest starting with a small secured personal loan from a CU like SDFCU, NASAFCU or DCU. You can "combine" (by using the loan proceeds) that with a secured credit card. That will get you moving up the score ladder. Once those are showing on your reports, apply for an unsecured Capital One card.
You should avoid and auto loan for the time being as your interest rste will be horrible right now.
Thank you for that information, do you have any information or experience on judments and tax liens?>

Is the tax lien from state or fed?

Fed tax lien can be removed once its paid. State tax lien goes state by state. You'll need to research your state laws to find out.
