IC Systems

Anybody have luck with a PFD for IC Systems or is anyone familiar with them?  I have a collection for $78 from Terminix.  Thank You.

I sent them a DV letter.  Got a response back on Dec 4 saying they were going to notify the CRAs to delete.  However, I JUST checked my EQ and it's still there.  I guess I have to wait until around Jan 4 to see if it's still there.  If it is, I'm not sure what to do next.

If you don't mind, what was the gist of your DV letter?  Was it short and sweet?

NOTE:  I didn't actually sign bc someone said not to in a post bc some of the sleazier CA's will copy your sig and apply it to documents.

Electra, was your DV for a paid or unpaid collection?

mmmlive, it was for unpaid. For paid you would want to GW.  

I got a letter from them but it's not yet removed.  Guess we'll see in the next couple of weeks.

Well I might try that then.... Mine was paid a few mons ago( before I knew about PFD) and I sent out my first GW to them (e-mail,fax, and letter) 2 days ago. Think I will give it  a few weeks then DV.

Hey mmmlive,

I believe DV is only for unpaid debt. If you have paid them you should GW.  If they decline, just keep trying until you find someone who says yes.
