I have an account due to fall off on 08/2022. I have read that TransUnion will do EE up to 6 months in advance. Others have seemed to have good luck with this but I have called maybe 20-30 times at this point and have went through the process of asking for a supervisor etc. without luck. All reps say that TU does not do EE's. I always get call centers that sound to be overseas.
am I doing something wrong here? Is there a better way to go about this? Maybe calling at a certain time of day to get a US based rep.
Welcome @Invictus2905 Ask for a supervisor and go from there. There have been a few reports that it dropped down to 3 months like EX. Also TU has been deleting early without request since last Nov approximately. Good Luck!
On TU I had 3 CO's scheduled drop off in July 2022. In January six months ahead I submitted online request and they dropped off immediately with in few minutes.
Same 3 on EX scheduled to be deleted on 3/22. I put a request today 2/1/2022 one month ahead. All 3 dropped off with in couple of hours.
Every on said to stay away from EQ and I am staying away from EQ for now. EE does work and patience is the Virtue.
Thanks for the information @FireMedic1. This has been a long journey and I am in the home stretch so I am getting antsy! I will keep trying and hopefully it goes through.
I did see a few post where folks submitted an online dispute and it was either immediately deleted or deleted within a few hours. I doubt I have that sort of luck and dont think I want to submit a dispute. This CO reports every month at 110% utilization and at this point I dont want to mess with it too much since I am so close and its my last baddie.
@Red1Blue I literally just posted a comment where a few folks did this via an online dispute and you just verified it. I may try it. At this point I dont think I have anything to lose as it already reports every month.
@Red1Blue was this a dispute you did online? If so, what reasoning did you put for the dispute?

For TU online. I choose other and in the remarks section I put "this account is too old. Requesting early exclusion." I am on the road now. If you like In couple of hours I can send you PM with screen captures.

@Red1Blue Wow! I just did exactly what you said and before the page loaded after I hit submit I got an email saying the results were in and it was deleted!! Thanks!!

Good to hear. Congratulations. Glad it worked out for you. What are you doing about EQ ?
Honestly, I have heard the same about EQ and haven't really decided on a plan of action. The CO reports every month so I am not worried about that updating since it's doing it anyway. I am not sure what other repercussions asking for an EE could result in. I have only heard it will "poke the bear" and cause the original creditor to update it and it will rank your score.
