KD?

Ok, I pulled up my Experian, and I'm seeing that each of the CAs are reporting KDs. What does that mean and can they do that? They have purchased charged off accounts from the OCs.

Re: KD?

KD is key derogatory, but no a CA can't report that.  They don't even have a code for it.  The only way they can put that on there is to list themselves as a Factoring Company thereby giving themselves certain aspects as listing as an OC.  Yes you can fight this, I have and won.

Re: KD?

What information do you need? I need all the advice I can get, lol. I'm at the point where I want to just get a lawyer and have them deal with it, but that will be too expensive.

Re: KD?

When you look at EXP credit monitoring, they show KD's but when you look at your hard copy those are actually CO's.  I don't know why EXP does it this way instead of just showing what the credtor will really see.  If you have a report number you can use the backdoor to see it for yourself.
