Today, I paid Midland a settlement of $1,030 for $1,616. They absolutely refused PFD. But I've been stressing over this for MONTHS so to have this bad boy paid feels AMAZING. No more stressing over the possibility of being sued and 5 phone calls a day.
Now I begin the GW removal process. Get ready for 5 phone calls a day, e-mails, letters and faxes from me, Midland
WAY TO GO!!!!! Send the GW's with old lady perfume scent, I'm sure they will regret it after a few weeks of their office reeking of horrendous stench
LMAO i never thought about that haha thats funny. COnGRaTS!!!! good job!!! i know how you feel, its alot of weight off your shoulder now just gw gw gw gw and bug the crap out of them thats what im doing with portfolio recovery now and i dont think they like me anymore.
Congrats I just paid them off as well and they have agreed to delete my accounts, I emailed the CEO directly. you can find his email address here: http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/General-Credit-Topics/Our-Email-to-the-bigwigs-at-Midland-Credit-Man...

I'm pretty sure I figured out which one of these emails is the CEO. Do you think emailing him with a PFD letter will do any good? I know this company is difficult to get PFD's out of, is it worth bothering at all or should I just email him about settlement and follow with GW later? Did you PFD them or just pay, then GW? Thanks!
I doubt they will do a pay for delete, but its worth a shot. I paid the settlement amount and then sent a GW email to the CEO the very next day. I got an email back from one of their customer service reps for me to call them. They then told me over the phone they were deleting the accounts and sending me a written letter for my records.
who did you do the settlement with? did you call on the phone?
