Late payment hauntings?

Ok gurus... After a late payment (whether it be 30,60,90... Whatever!) has hit the year mark on an open account, how much does this affect credit scores?? Thank you!

30 and 60 day lates will affect your score for 2 yrs. 90 days and higher are major derogatories and can affect your score for 7 yrs.

Why Spongebob WHYYYYYYYY??? 30's affect majorly or just a little? I have 2 accounts with 1 or 2 30's nearing the year mark -_-

You had already took a hit with the 30 day lates. After 2 yrs they lose their sting and start to fade over time. You can send a GW letter asking for removal of the lates.
