Letter from CapOne after Goodwill letter!!

Hi All,

Okay so I got a response back from my GW letters to capOne that didn't say anything other than "call us to discuss you sitution"... What do I do now? Do I call? Do I write them back. The last few times I called all they said was" well you can pay it off and we will mark it paid in full not settled...

I had 2 CO's on my CR, I did settlements with the CA, and the account is considered closed basically in terms of reprocussions from CapOne.

I offered a PFD, OR a pay for reopening and deleting of the negative items.

From what I have heard CapOne is bad about helping the consumer...

Yeah...Capital One...is one of those companies...they don't accept PFD..all you can do is CALL...

Wait I am lost, you paid the CA off and now you want to settle with Cap 1?

OR did you pay th CA and are GW Cap one to reopen or remove?

I settled with the CA for one account $200 less that the Full Balance and the other for $1500 less that the full balance.

I GW'd them to basically pay the difference for a delete, or pay to reopen and remove all the lates. I hope they are willing to work with me on this... they have been pretty stubborn in the past... OH WELL.... I WILL KEEP MY FINGERS CROSSED!!!!!
