Re: Lexington Law -- My Story

I fired them and they refunded me my entire payment due to the  kept giving me run arounds. A CSR said no she cannot refund me anything unless its their fault until I threatened FTC action then she put me on hold and said we are refunding you the entire amount.

BK: 7 filed 3/31/12 - Discharged 6/27/12
Made some poor choices and life snowballed
BK: 13 filed 7/29/16 - on a 36th month time out
No CC - No Loans - Student Loans all current.

Re: Lexington Law -- My Story

I am currently using LL since April of this year. I've had about 10-14 negative items removed from each report. My husband about 9 on average. My credit score started at a 498 it is now about 603 middle average. However after 8 months I feel that they cannot get anything else off, it's been about 3 months since something fell off my report. My husband only has two negative things left (one being our BK) and it doesn't appear to be moving. LL did manage to get my BK removed from my TU report only though...for the record I def think they are worth it, but now I think I'm ready to cancel!

Re: Lexington Law -- My Story

Im glad to hear you had success! I feel I hit that wall myself so I figured I would give them a six-month trial. I figure that $600 has more potential upside than adding it to a secured card :-/ My utilization hovers around 10% and nobody is listening to my PFDs so this sounded like a sound investment Smiley Happy

Re: Lexington Law -- My Story

Obviously it hasn't even been a month yet, but what have they done for your first $100 so far? Just collecting info from you? Maybe drafting some letters?

Re: Lexington Law -- My Story

They sent out the initial letters and such. Im realistically expecting results somewhere between 60-90 days. If no progress, Ill cut it short. I have one collection account removed but I am unsure if that is their doing, or mine

Re: Lexington Law -- My Story

Right. I wanted to take advantage of them because my wife and I recently quit smoking, so with nearly $200 a month in savings it's almost a no-brainer. My only reason behind wanting to hire them is getting the tougher CA's off of my report. I am pretty much the most unlucky person when it comes to CA's. I have the toughest CA's with histories of not working with people at all. Sucks.

Re: Lexington Law -- My Story

I used Skyblue when I first started my repair journey and was clueless. They got 6 things removed within the 1st round from all 3 CRA's, after 4 months with them I felt confident enough to do the reapirs on my own with the help of this forum. They worked wonders for me.

Re: Lexington Law -- My Story

One of the California Business Bureau accts. listed for just under $1k, is now listed as disputed. Also, one of the First Premier Bank accounts that has been Charged Off, no longer list a credit limit. It is reported as $0. Even thoufh the account was CO years ago, the limit remained.. Hopefully more to come...
