Re: Lexington Law - Results so far...

I have read that many of the items they get deleted do frequently show up again. I will be curious to see if that is the case with you.

I never used LL, but I used techniques similar to LL's early in my repair days. From personal experience, probably 7 out of 10 baddies that got deleted returned as a new baddie, and of those that returned, they were much, much more difficult to remove.

ETA...and of those still inside SOL, a couple of them proceeded to sue. They will wake up.

Re: Lexington Law - Results so far...

i may re-enlist the services of LL once my repo SOL expires in Jan 13' - with hopes of a full-deletion as the DoFD on all 3 CRs are not only incorrect, but all 3 are reporting different dates. Not even the correct year.

Re: Lexington Law - Results so far...

There's nothing Lexington Law can do that you can't if you follow advice in these forums.

Essentially these services (and I used a different one for a while with very little success, but had already gotten things corrected) rely on the stupidity / laziness of the people at the furnishers and CRAs and overwhelm the CRAs with disputes in hope a few will "stick".  The CRAs have gotten better at detecting this and I suspect that's why the baddies that fall off and reappear are harder to dislodge later.

If you first focus on erroneous items, those past seven years and so forth, then follow up with GW letters you'll probably get better results at lower cost.  We don't have a legal right to get rid of accurately reported baddies.

Re: Lexington Law - Results so far...

I have been with LL for almost a year now and my experience has been amazing.
27 items removed and I am down to 1 now and that one falls off in dec.
I hear you all on your criticism but there are people out there that do have good experiences.
Yes, I could do it all on my own, especially since they are all medical BUT I could mess it up.
I would rather pay the $79.95 (concord)
I would rather leave it to someone that had done this and understands the system and all the laws.

Re: Lexington Law - Results so far...

Hi

I am also with LL now after spending the last 2 years trying to goodwill things off my credit report. I am on the concord level plan. All of my charge offs, judgments, tax liens are all paid in full. So far they have not removed anything. I just started my second round. I plan to give them 6 months. If nothing removed then I will drop them. I was just at a standstill on my own. Figured I would give them a try.
