Well needless to say, one Midland account has sat on my Experian report for ages as closed and the second never on record. One of them was turned over to an attorney's office in Louisville, KY and I have been paying them $100 a month since January. I could not afford a settlement offer at the time. Neither were ever reported to Equifax or Trans Union. Needless to say, this morning Midland (both accounts) appeared on my Equifax reports. They show as:

Can you help me to get these off of my reports? Am I correct that the 01/01/2001's would be obsolete? Should I dispute them with the CRA's first or send DV's to Midland directly? Correct we if I am wrong: I need to dispute them with the CRA's as obsolete first. I am trying to grasp this process and want to make sure that this is done right.
AARRGGGHHH.....
Thanks!
