Hi all,
My DH has a paid charge off account from Macy's.I contacted Macy's to see about "reinstating" his credit card, but they said he would have to reapply. I don't think that it's going to be a problem with getting approved but I'm wondering if I should
A) Send them a goodwill asking for deletion of the TL first or;
B) Apply then send GW to see what they can do about the old TL
My goal is to get the TL removed, my DH wants to re-open the card, but I'm not sure what the best way to go about this.
Any thoughts? and does anyone have a contact for Macy's?

...ok. Nobody's stepping up so....
Try the GW, since it's paid. Big difference between a paid/unpaid CO, in regards to being forgiven, after all, businesses want their money back.
