Re: Making Progress!!!

Who does Barclays Pull ? And has anyone done the pre-approval and got a pre-approved and not just a pre-selected?

I just tried it and got the pre-selected offer. Not taking it just yet, still working on getting my UTL down on others first.

Re: Making Progress!!!

Congrats! In my experience Barclays will evaulate your credit history every 6 months and auto-CLI if you prove you are capable of responsible management. I started at $750, auto-CLI to $2050 after the 6th statement and then just in June auto-CLI to $3350 after 12th statement. So, yes, use it often and pay more than miminum (I rarely PIF on Barclay) and around your 6th statement make sure your UTL is below 10%--your CL should grow pretty fast Smiley Happy

Re: Making Progress!!!

I'm one to always pay in full on the due date of the statement.

Will they give me more love if I accrue any interest?

No one can answer that with certainty but my guess is: No, they won't reward you a higher CLI if you accrue interest. They will reward you if use it often, illustrate a need for higher CL and pay more than the minimum every month. Minimum payments to a lender = consumer financial difficulty.

Re: Making Progress!!!

I would rather use it for everything and just pay in full but have read that Barclays doesn't like you to pay in full or make multiple payments in one month...
