Yep, that will be a while. Georgia has some murky waters when it comes to the SOL. From what I found it starts at the date last paid, which was late 2010. Portfolio is reporting the date opened as 2012 and DoFD as 2011.

It's terribly confusing and I'd just rather make them go far, far away. It's my only charge off other than the Scana bill from above. I want it to be in my rearview.

Scana did not play around! I got an email a day after I sent off my GW letter saying they would delete. And today I got a formal letter in the mail saying they have deleted my collection account on the CRAs. One down, one to go.

Unfortunately, that one was not PRA. That sucker still lingers, and I have no idea how to fix that one. I can't even get them to contact me!
