Logged into CK to see my scores had dropped more than 40 points. Logged into ScoreSense and saw the same pretty much. Here is the only thing that has changed....
Man I sure was proud of myself seeing scores above 700.
what happened?!?!
what do I do?
thanks in advance
Credit Karma & Scoresense offer Vantage Score 3.0; their score changes mean very little in the world of credit.
I have seen 100+ point swings on CreditKarma with no score change on my Fico8 score.
Use CK to monitor changes to your file, but ignore the scores given unless you are going after a lender that uses that score (most lenders use one or more of the available FICO scoring models).
Should I do anything with this remark (or, in this case, the removal of it)
or
leave it be and just make sure FICO's don't drop?

No. If your loans no longer deferred then the remark removal is accurate and your loan servicer won't state otherwise (unless you put the loans back in deferment by attending school or place them in forbearance). Your FICOs shouldn't be affected at all by your loans coming out of deferment as it's not viewed as a "negative" event.
