Medical collection that is 2 years old

Hello everyone,I wanted some advice on an unpaid medical collection that is about $109. I want to pay this so do i call the Collection agency and try to get a PFD? Or do i call the medical center where i had the service and try to pay them so i can get the medical collection deleted? Trying to rebuild my credit and myfico Trans union is only 530.Would appreciate any and all advice, thank you.

For unpaid medical debt that is reporting on your CR:

1. Call the OC and see if you qualify for Charity Care
2. If not then ask that they recall the collection in exchange for full payment
3. Send the reporting CA a PFD offer
4. Google the HIPAA Process and contact its creator for help
