Have one medical collection with Medicredit...will they do a settlement PFD? Or does it need to be PIF?

I had a couple accounts with them on my CR and they did a PFD, but I did pay in full. They were very easy to work with and all accounts were removed from all three credit bureaus within a a couple weeks

For PFD you typically need to pay in full not settle for less but there is no harm in asking.

For unpaid medical debt that is reporting on your CR:

1. Call the OC and see if you qualify for Charity Care
2. If not then ask that they recall the collection in exchange for full payment
3. Send the reporting CA a PFD offer
4. Google the HIPAA Process and contact its creator for help
