Hello everyone!
I just have a couple questions about my credit report.
Midland Funding is reporting a Past Due amount, 120+ days late (Mar & Apr 2016) even tho the OC sold this in 2015, 1 month account and a Factoring Company Account.
Are there any violations here?
Also how hard is it to remove a Credit One charge off account from my report?
Thank You guys!!

Glad to be here for the help!!
I hope there is a violation especially with the past due amount. I dont feel like paying Midland Scums
The charged off account is showing $0 balance, it was sold to Midland.. I put multiple letters in the mail today and also sent emails! wish me luck! I will update when I get a response.
Did they make an unpdated reporting that included the fact that the OC account was delinquent at that level, or did they actually report that you had a new delinquency with them (ii.e., Midland) for lack of timely payment to them?
Credit reports commonly show delinquencies that were reported on the OC account under the collection heading, incorrecty implying that the debt collector reported a new delinquency with them.
This is what it shows, they show on all 3 bureaus even tho it doesn't show it here.

Can you reformat the showing of your payment history to clearly show the mon/yr of each derog? It is a bit confusing as shown.
Additonally, payment history is reported by the creditor, not the debt collector.
The critical issue seems to be any showing of reported delinquencies after sale of the debt.
You are correct in that the creditor cannot report additional derogs with dates of occurence after they no longer own the debt......
What I see that is confusing is the consumer statement:
CONSUMER STATEMENT: ACCOUNT WAS PAID BEFORE BEING TURNED OVER TO A COLLECTION
Did you pay the account in full or just partial to the Original Creditor? If PIF, and you have proof of PIF, I would say Midland is in the wrong.
Credit One Reports a Limit: 300 High Bal: 300.
Midland is reporting almost twice that. (I know over limit charges, late fees, interest etc) But wouldn't CreditOne show a higher High Bal if that is the case?
I did not pay the creditor, it was a charge off with a max balance of $300, and yes that's what I'm wondering...how would I go about finding out why it's double? I have letters and emails out to both with responses back that they are reviewing!
