Midland - please post success stories!

I have been battling Midland for nearing two years and have gotten nowhere with them. Please, if you have had success getting Midland removed, post some advice for the rest of us. I know they are about the toughest baddy out there, but some people have done it and I would love to know how!

PM me if you don't want to share publicly.  I have raised my score 159 points in my two years of works, and have finally cleared almost everything that my ex stuck me with (my stupid fault but still not pleasant). I just need to get Macy's and Midland fixed and I am free and clear!

I had an account with Midland.  I'd done the GW letters, no one ever responded.  One day, I just called.  Nice woman on the phone, said she couldn't delete, but I kept talking to her.  She said she would see what she could do.  By the next month, Midland was gone. No explanation, just gone.
