My Next Step?

I sent a DV to CMI as they have an account on my credit report that isn't mine. I recieved a response from them today and the only thing that sent was a copy of the bill to which has my name and a former address. The original creditor is Time Warner cable, I've never used them before. CMI never sent what I was requesting which was something with my signature, a credit card, banking information something that says it belonged to me and not someone that just used my name. Please advise on what my next move should be. Thanks in advance!

  You should file an ID theft report with the police.

Send copies to the CA and to the CRAs!!

I would also send an OC letter and ask for copies of the bills from Time Warner and ask for a contract or agreement that proves you agreed to that service. This info is also good for the police report and for the CRAs.
