Re: My Rebuild Thread

Update:

We have signed the rate lock docs.  We are locked in at 3.25% with a buydown for the first year to 2.25%.  We're pretty happy with that.  LO should have ordered the appraisal today, but may have had to wait till tomorrow.  I'm trying to be understanding with him.  While it's the biggest purchase of my life, it's just one of many for him.  I know this is the end of the month so all the loans he's been working on are probably trying to close over the next few days.  Hopefully he doesn't drop the ball because of this.

I also wanted to say thank you for all the positive comments.  While my rebuild journey hasn't been as arduous as comes, it is still a journey and the positive comments makes it a more enjoyable journey.  Helps to know that you're not alone on the road.

Re: My Rebuild Thread

Update:

Our file has passed processing and is in underwriting with the appraisal and termite inspection ordered.  We're excited.

I would like to say thank you, to everybody, for the prayers and well wishes.  We're starting to get excited and trying not to be too overwealmed.  It's difficult.  The house and property has a lot of meaning to our family and the idea of getting it back is something we never even dreamed of....it's very difficult to explain.
