Navy Federal Credit Union

I finally got my membership yesterday. today I got the welcome call, they were super nice and since they did a HP, they said I qualified for their products. So I figured why not, and app'd for a CC. Low and behold, approved with a $6,000 limit. Easily my highest limit post BK. They are the best. My highest before was a 1700 limit with Merrick, and my cards were just maxed to my 2 vehicles breaking down. All with a 615 eq, 625 ex and 626 tu. I can't help but loving the forum and all the posts about how truly great NFCU is. My own CU's wouldn't give me a card and they exceeded my expectations. I am definitely taking my business to NFCU.

Congrats you're in with a great organization

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Navy Federal Credit Union

Congrats, I got my welcome call a two days ago as well.  Also super friendly, I was telling my wife I'm pretty tech savy, but it's still nice to have them walk you through all their features, products, alerts.  Didn't qualify for an unsecured card with them (too many inqs and new accounts, with high balances cause of our wedding on Sat lol), so I'm going for a Secured in the mean time that will hopefully graduate in a year to unsecured.
