I was hoping for an upgrade as I hate to lose a long line credit but after nearly 11 years, credit scores in 800s, new credit cards with CL of nearly 30k each; Cap1 still hasn't upgraded my secured card. Seriously, what the hell?
imo, just close it
it doesn't serve a purpose, it's never going to be useful or unbucketed and you don't need it anymore plus what would you do with a free $1300?

Annual fee is in June. Think I'll cancel in May.

I'd say close it as well, but lately people with years-old secured cards have all of a sudden been getting unsecured, so maybe hold on a bit longer?
