I was reading NFCUs website and they are keeping a 24/7 hotline open for people affected by the government shutdown and processing CLIs and other things for members on the spot. Keep in mind everyone that the lady on the phone said "Your credit card has a max limit of $50,000.00, so lets see how much we can get you." I was like..."Whoa, I don't need that much. Let's do 7500.00" she came back on and said my internal limit would be at 6,000 and is available now. I also have a 590 on Equifax, but that should change soon. Stupid Sallie Mae.

So for those of you with mid 600s and up...the sky is the limit! Don't abuse it, though.

I'd absolutely love to take advantage of this, but I'm not directly affected by the shutdown, so I will leave this help to everyone who is.
