Need help with Foreclosure Reporting

Hello,

I modified my loan back in 2009 and prior to that, I did not pay for sometime, the reporting states that Foreclosure proceedings have started but the property never foreclosed and I have been on time with payments since 2010. I tried to do a refinance and the Desktop Underwriting software is picking up the foreclosure and is declaring me ineligible. Is there a way to remove that from my reporting or at least to show what date that happened so that the systems picks it up and can see when it occurred and that I am indeed eligible? Any input is greatly appreciated. Seems like nobody knows what to do or what can be done in this situation.

Have you called the lender? they should be able to make changes.
