I logged in today with Equifax and found out they deleted my Chapter 7 bankruptcy which was filed in Oct 2005. Last month, they had the deletion date Oct 2015. We all know what a stickler Equifax can be about early exclusions. I didn't even have to ask them about this. My score shot up 21 points. I called all 3 bureaus to report my paid tax lien so that we can go ahead and get a jump start on updating this information as well. Wow, already a great start to September. Thank you everyone for all the information you provide on here! Without it, I don't know what I would do!

My October 2005 Ch 7 also fell off EQ today. It was my last baddie and my score went up 64 points! I already had my BK excluded from TU and EX, and those scores had similar jumps when the BK fell off.
Anyway...congrats!! It definitely feels nice.
Equifax regularly excludes items on the first of the month preceeding the scheduled drop off month. I called them the last week of July to get something excluded that was scheduled for September, and they insisted that it must remain until September. A week later, on the first of August, it was deleted. They are hard to get EEs from, but at least they do this.
Congrats! A long time until that happens for me, but it's nice to know what can happen.
Congrats!!!
Congrats
I had the same thing with a Cap One CO with a DOFD in Oct 2008
Happy Days!
