If the OC did not sell the account to a CA but transferred it to the CA will it show a balance? If the OC didn't sell it can I contact them and try to have them pull it back from CA and pay the OC?
If they sold the account...it should have a zero balance for the OC...in some cases you can contact the OC for PIF if they agree to pull out of collections...but if the account was sold...some OC will tell you...you need to deal with the CA..and that would be it...
If its not sold, then of course the OC will report the balance, because they own it. Some Creditors will work with you even though they contracted a CA, then again, some will refer you to the CA and not give you the time of day =P
