Old Navy card pre-approval

Today I was shopping on my phone at oldnavy.com. I got the Congrats you are pre-approved for an Old Navy Card message. Is the accurate, was I really pre-approved?

I was logged into my user profile when this happened.

Should be pre-approved but some of these type store cards can have very low limits and very high APR.

The last thing you want to do to rebuild credit is open up 10 store cards with $200 limits.

I didn't take the bait but it was nice seeing the pre-approval come up for something other than Comenity.

My Discover card recently graduated and I've been using it like cash. I'm enjoying the perks of that card more than anything. I'm ready to get an AMEX card next but I still have some more rebuild work to do.
