On a roll again... sending out more DV's today!

Ok I have made it to the high 600 club yay!!  But I stopped trying cause I got so busy with things.

I just bought a used car and got a new CC but these inquiries are probably going to bring my score down again.

So I am going to try to get these last POS CA's off my reports

1. Sent today AFNI 3rd DV - already reported to FTC and BBB they ignored

2. Sent today MCM 3rd DV - "                                                                       "

3. Sent today 2nd GW letter to Applied bank - denied first one

4.Sent today 1st PFD to medical collection

5. Sent today OSI 2nd dv - did not complete the first DV only sent me a bill

I will keep everyone posted and wish me luck.  Come on 700's!!!!!!

A call came into our office today from "OSI". I field CA calls all the time here and quickly searched the number thinking it was the CA. Short story even shorter it wasn't the CA, but someone looking to extend a car warranty. But in searching for the CA OSI, it looks like they do medical collections.

If your OSI was collecting on a medical debt and they sent you a bill, then they may have violated HIPAA. If so, then you could call them out on that and press for a PFD somewhat easily.

did you follow HIPPA for #4

I havent done it yet but Im hearing good things about it.

I thought HIPPA was only if the doctors made a mistake in billing.  This was for an emergency room visit.  My insurance only paid a certain percentage I owed the rest.
