It gave me. 30 points boost by being updated to paid / settled

I’m worried it was sold off ?

If you did not settle, then the reporting of a current status of settled for less and the reporting of a $0 balance would both be inaccurate.

You can file a dispute with the CRA and get the reporting updated/corrected.  Whether it is in your interest to do so might be a bit questionable.....

A substantive factor might arise if they reported a settlement for less to the IRS, which might subject you to a tax obligation.

Did they ever send a 1099c informing you that they reported a settlement to the IRS?

Not yet. These people are confusing there all different threw each bureau and credit site i hope they didn’t sell it off i hope they just let it go
