PFD Success

I received my first PFD success in the mail today.  On March 5 I sent a letter to Centerpoint Energy with an offer to PIF a $48 chargeoff if they would delete it from my credit report.  Today I received a letter in the mail from them with a copy of the letter that I sent stamped "received April 18 2012".  Why it took so long for them to receive it I don't know.  But anyway, they agreed that once the account is paid in full a deletion will be submitted to all 3 credit reporting agencies.  I am going to contact them on Monday to get the information that I need to pay this off.  Woo hoo!

That's great! Usually I'd send a money order with a copy of their agreement certified return reciept.
