PFD advice for Jefferson Captial Systems

File a complaint with the BBB. Everyone has been doing it that way and getting good results. I did it 2 months ago, and sure enough, Jefferson capital removed it. Just make sure you get them to state in writing that they will “not sell or transfer to another CA”.

I have been looking into this.  How do I get them to agree “not sell or transfer to another CA” if I got through the BBB route?  Thanks!

Just received advice on another forum that I should not pursue anything if collection is within SOL.  Is this true?  The original Verizon account isn't on my credit report and the Jefferson just showed up in November.  I would really like to take the necessary steps to having this removed.

I saw your post on submitting a complain to BBB regarding Jefferson Capital.

I have an account with them and just got off the phone with them and they refused to do the PFD.  

I didn't pay them anything, but was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing how you did the complaint?

how long did it tale to come off the report? I see it gone from experian, but not TU or EQ:/
