PFD if something is not on your credit report yet?

I owe NCO about $288 for a cellphone bill - Here is my question...I just pulled all three reports today and NCO is not on one of them. I am willing to pay them in full but I am worried that after I pay they might report me anyway. Should I do a PFD for the full amount just to be on the safe side? Or are they unlikely to report once it is paid off?

Re: PFD if something is not on your credit report yet?

Did you receive a dunning letter or a phone call?   When did you stop paying?

Federal SOL is 2 years from DOFD.

Send them a DV  CMRRR!

always send a DV CMRRR   wait for an answer  Then send a PFD..........They can continue to report till the CRTP 7 years if you pay without a PFD
