@RobertEG is there a "reasonable" time period allowed for the immediate update, or is it really immediately required? I settled and paid off a collections almost 30 days ago and it is still not showing a $0 balance. They updated the balance to the final amount, which only took a few days, but have yet to zero the account or remove it per their website.
Hi Brian,
i called the bank 2 weeks later to confirm that they did report it to the CRAs. To my surprise, they opened a case and a week later, it got updated on all the 3 CRAs.

Yeah, I'll probably call them tomorrow. A month is too long in my opinion
