Pay For Delete

Hi all!
I have been working on getting my FICO 2 score up for a couple of months now, in hopes of buying my first home soon. I still have a lot of work to do.
I would like to know HOW to effectively ask a collection agency for a Pay for Delete. What would I want to be sure and ask in the negotiation process? And what is appropriate to say when inquiring?

I've worked on paying down my card balances as mentioned in other forums, and I have became an AU for a CitiBank CC with a low balance, never late, and 10+ years worth of reporting.
I have 3 collections that I am trying to work on now, with the amounts of 444$, 255$, and 133$. Any info on Pay for Delete would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for reading!

Re: Pay For Delete

Welcome to myFico and here are examples of such to get ideas. You want to keep it as simple as possible and I advise they be sent to the office of the CEO. Cap-1 does not ever PFD though I would get it settled to stop its updating and clear your utilization on it.
