Paying Off Collections

Wondering if it is a better idea to payoff something in collections first or payoff a high interest credit card first?

The open...high interest CC may be better....depending on the balance.....bu tif you decided to do the collections...try to PFD...simply paying collections won't  help you one bit...

What do you mean collections??  there are COs and then there are CA     each may have different effect on your scores.

Who is reporting  what is the DOFD/DOLA?   what is your SOL?

I have a couple of baddies that I'm going to pay off due to them showing a past due amount.  This is hurting me.  It is best to get the PFD, but that is very hard to get for most.
