I'm guessing he has a business and/or access to a credit card reader since he's also talking about "flip it back on the card."  I can't imagine that either the card processor or the card issuer would be happy.


 

I'm taking it that they're gonna PayPal/venmo/QuickPay/zelle/pop themselves and than pay off the card. OP, if that's what you mean, you're looking at having it closed instead of grow. Amex is especially adverse to sending yourself money.
