Geniuess can you PM me a DV template please ?
Just thought of something pertaining to this matter. PRA says they are collecting on a Capital One account (perviously Orchard Bank). The account is mine, not disputing it. They appear to be charging interest as well. If a PFD is agreed on with PRA will Capital One have to delete the matter off my CR as well or will I be stuck with the negative from Capital One no matter what I do with PRA ?
You are collecting on this alleged debt, account _____. Please validate per FDCPA 809.
No, Cap 1 will not have to delete, only the CA. Also, if PRA is not reporting you would modify the PFD to pay for not reporting.
Will Cap 1 still have a negative reflect points wise if this is the case ?
Yes, the account is charged off or a collection. Paying that will not change that fact and it will always be scored as a charge off or collection.
So paying it off to a collection agency (PRA) will only prevent it from being scored against me twice ?
Yes, if they don't report. And if the balance is being factored into your utilization, once paid it will never be again. Is the OC account showing a balance and CL? If it is, it is factored into your utilization.
In this case Cap 1 is the OC

The OC is showing a 12 month graph. The graph shows payment info from 05/12 through 09/12, no information from 10-12 through 01-13, then picks back up for 02/13 and 03/13. 04/13 shows the following
Balance - $0
Amount Due - blank
Amount Paid - $0
Past Due - $0
High Balance - $449

It isn't showing a balance or CL so it isn't factored in to your utilization.
