Possible to GW an acct that was "settled for less"?

This is for B of A.  I had a CC acct that I settled for $10K (balance was over $20K).  I was thinking of sending a GW to them and see if they would agree to delete the entire account but I don't know if I'll be wasting my time.  I figure they would be more likely to do it if I paid it in full but I just don't have the money.  Has anyone done this or is it too much of a stretch?

I think you would be wasting your time. But it never hurts to try.
