Good evening everyone! Hope all is well. My sister is also in the rebuilding process and she is also applying for a mortgage. She's working with a lender now, but is very early in the process. She knows not to apply for any new credit.
She was pre-approved for a credit account and wants to know if accepting the offer will have any negative impact on her credit file? We assume she won't get an inquiry; is that correct? Any consequences or negative ramifications?
