My husband currently has a collection for Progressive showing under RMS. It was placed for collection back on 10/30/201 with a balance of $289. I've tried several times to PFD with RMS but they never respond via mail. Recently we got new car insurance and my husband wanted a quote from Progressive but online it showed he had a balance and it appeared to give him an option to pay it online and then start a new policy. Has anyone been in this situation before? If we pay Progressive directly can I then dispute with RMS? I just want to pay it and have it removed but they aren't working with me.
Call Progressive have them recall the collectors and pay them off, recalling the collectors gets it off your CRs.
