Prosper loan for installment loan?

Since my bankruptcy I haven't had an installment loan or car loan, just credit cards. Would it be helpful over time to get something like a prosper loan? Unfortuantely it looks like all they would offer me is 23% which is what my Capital One card is already. I would just be interested in improving my mix of credit.

Thoughts?

Having an installment tradeline reporting along with the revolving credit tradelines is not a bad thing. My quest is this....do you have a specific objective in mind that would required your to apply for financing anytime in the next 12 months [eg: auto, home mortgage, etc.]? If not, why bother taking on new debt. If yes, it make be helpful to your credit profile to improve the mix of tradelines.
