Re: Question

Good morning

slowly chugging away over here.  Hopefully by end of 2019, I will be over the 640 goal.

Below scores were from 05/22

Experian 611

Equifax  628

TransUnion 619

 as of Today

Experian 632

Equifax 634

Transunion 625

I have to work on bringing my balance down on my NFCU Secured Card but Ive been paying 3 collections off monthly so its a toggle back between the both of them.

I'd like to qualify for a mortgage next Spring.

Re: Question

Congrats on your progress! I'm in the same boat of trying to pay off my last 3 derogs plus show usage and positive payment history on my 2 cards. My short term goal is a Discover card with a mortgage a couple of years out. The struggle is real!

Re: Question

@crazedforcredit

Its so frustrating sometimes. If I could get a really good personal loan for $5k, Id just pay them all off and worry about paying that back.

Re: Question

Im still chugging along over here with my collections.

Even though Im a little down , I am further long than August of this year.

I've paid around $5000 in collections in 4 months.  Ive paid off two Capital One collections via PRA  and three Synchrony Bank collections via PRA . I just set up a payment arrangement via PRA for the last two Synchrony collections, total of around $2700.  I plan to pay it off in 6 months. I've paid off Credence Resource Management  and Jefferson Capital

I have a small collection paying monthly from LVNV its $1100. I should be finished with that by March 2020. Maybe sooner.  Paying $55 a week.

I also am making $55 a week to Ally finanical.  This will fall off my credit report in Feb 2020 though.  After I finish with the rest of my collections, I will up the Ally Financial to get rid of it sooner but its around $5000 left.

I have one collection I havent touched yet with Complete Credit Solutions for $1723. Im holding off until I see what my bonus and taxes look like.

Its stressful but I'd like to get it done in order to qualify for a mortgage later in the year of 2020.    My Fico Scores in early December were

624 , 626 and 630.   My utilization is higher than it should be on my credit cards.  working on that as well as the collections.

Salary 65k but always forced OT so I sit usually around 80-90K yearly,

Discover $2000 CL  (3/2018)

Nrewards $2000 CL  (02/2018)

First Progress $200 CL ( Thinking about closing this one because of the AF ) (10/18)

First Access $375 CL  ( Thinking of closing this one because of the AF and monthly fee but I need a third card ) (11/18)

Major Financial Jewelers Club  $5000 CL  ( opened 11/ 2018)

Fingerhut  $1200 CL

Personal Loan $1000

Hopefully I'll be able to bump my discover and nrewards CLs in Feb/Mar of 2020. I'm praying when that Ally finanical comes off I get a boost.

Re: Question

Still chugging along over here.

I had to get a car for so I now have a car loan which slowed down my repayment on a few of my collection accounts. I wont get my 3 scores until my subscription starts again in March.  I know Experian is  624 because I had the subscription with them directly but cancelled before the next billing last week.

I now have $5048 in collections that shows on my credit reports

Complete Credit Solutions for $1723

Portfolio Recovery $1506 walmart card( payment arrangement)

Portfolio Recovery $1232 amazon card ( payment arrangement)
LVNV $587 ( this is lower, CB updating slowly, will fall off in April)

Ally Financial $5k, not showing as it fell off my reports this year.  I send them $200 a month on repayment.

My credit cards/lines/loans are

Jewelers Club $5000 Opened 11/18

Discover $2000 Opened 03/19

NFCU Rewards $2000 Opened 02/19

First Access $375 Opened 11/18 (thinking about closing before AF if I get increases on NFCU/Discover before 11/20)

Walmart Store Card $300 Opened 02/20

First Progress $200 Opened 10/18 (thinking about closing before AF if I get increases on NFCU/Discover before 10/20)

Re: Question

I also have 3 charged off accounts negatively affecting me.

2 from First Premier and 1 from NFCU with an old secured  card. All three are paid and closed. They wont roll off anytime soon, so I'll be gardening and trying goodwill letters.
