Quick question...Please advice... Lates and AU on Credit card

Hello and thanks for reading my question.

I am an authorized user for my spouse's Cap1 credit card. As i'm in the rebuilding mode I have read that lates play a big role in your score. The card is reporting lates from Aug '16 to Nov '16 as 30-60-60-90 and also same months but in 2015 as 30-60-90. 

Im wondering if removing me from her account would just delete this on my report all together thus not having those lates anymore?

I'd definitely get removed from the card. Cap1 usually removes the AU reporting the next time the card reports. Occasionally, you'll need to dispute the account as 'not belonging to me'
