Hi all. I’ve been lurking here for some time now. I started rebuilding my credit in March 2019. My starting scores were high 400s(I know that sucks) . I had one cap1 charge off ($1028) , credit one charge off($687) and a open sky charge off ($198) .
I currently have:
Credit strong/ credit builder loan
Green dot Primor 64/1200
Citi Secured 0/500
Walmart 0/200
Applied for discover secured yesterday . Approved $1000 deposit down .
My scores as of today are
FICOs
575 EQ -only showing LVNV collection(credit one)
621 TU - no collections
592 EX -no collections . this score was 643 yesterday but Capital 1 added their balance back on my CR and I lost 51 points (so frustrating.
This is the highest my scores have ever been and I hate feeling like I’m taking one step forward only to take three back.
It’s a bit frustrating but I won’t give up just yet.
You've made great progress.
The best thing for you to do right now would be trying to deal with unpaid COs and collections. Once that's resolved, your scores can start recovering faster
You're welcome.
If you cannot get PFD, the next best thing is to pay the collection. Once all of them are either PFD or paid, your scores will start recovering because there will be no more updates.
