Thanks Nelnet Employee. I'm happily paying back my loans, never did default. I just accrued late payments remarks when I got no notice from your company that my repayment option requests were being completely ignored. I know several people who have zero current plans of paying anything back. They have long since defaulted. It is policies like this one at Nelnet that prevent them from ever wanting to rehab their loans. Rehab - pay way more after penalties and higher interest, get new "clean" loan accounts but still have 7.5 years of multiple accounts with derogatory payment history holding your score down.
