Santander GW letter?

I've read some negative posts and I'm wondering if it would do any good to GW Santander on 4 30 day lates? I'm about 65 months in on a 72 month loan. It was originally a Cap One loan bought by Santander.

I would send them.  They may say no but it never hurts to ask.

I have tried several times, wrote letters to the CEO and was told no, not a chance. Please post if you are successful.
