Does anybody know how fast the self lender reports to the credit bureaus .

They report every month.  I have used Self before and they reported like clockwork on the dates stated on their website.

I will be honest, from my experience, they are very laggy when it comes to reporting. currently mine is around a month behind. And it varies for the date they actually report. sometimes it will be a couple months before they update aswell.

They were kind of **bleep**ty to work with.

I completed their program about 8 months ago.

On the first month I didn't have Auto-pay set up and was 30 days late. Subsequently set up Auto Pay and succesfully completed the program.

Have requested for them to do a 1 time Goodwill delete of this negative item since it was trivial, I paid all the other installments on time. I think its ludicrous how they claim it to be a program to build your credit but won't give out a tiny concession like that.

I am on my second time using Self and they reported within two weeks of opening the account for me and report every month.  They were very quick.

Not their fault. You created your account. Online says when the first payment is due. Always check new accounts that it all started correctly and then afterwards also on all credit accounts. Auto-pay or not. Kinda on you for the late.
