Settled accounts

If you have settled an account about four years ago, can another collection agency now collection for the amount that was written off by the first collection agency or the original creditor?

If you have the agreement in writing, I would say no.

I agree- if they agreed to the settlement then it should be settled in FULL, not part... hence the term "settlement."

I've settled on 2 charged-off accounts and both report as Settled in Full on my CR's.
