Settlement for Less Than Full Amount - Reporting currently

I want to payoff a Verizon account with a settlement offer, but Verizon will only report paid less than full amount.  Verizon is reporting this currently each month - last report date was April 30, 207 as a revolving account.   If I settle is there a chance it will lower my score or should it not change given the fact that it is reporting each month already anyways?

Any help would be appreciated.

Settle it to stop the monthly updating its keeping your Fico depressed. Damage is already done to score.

If you dont pay, then you may face the possibility of further score damage.

If still within SOL, they may sue and obtain a judgment.

They may also charge-off the debt once it reaches severe delinquency and/or refer to a debt collector or sell the debt, resulting in the addition of a collection.

Thanks for the feedback.  I am going to call tomorrow and settle.
